“My television had been tuned to PBS since I was young. I enjoyed watching Sesame Street and The Electric Company when I was a kid.

Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers and Arthur were part of my daily routine with my own children. My husband and I are now empty nesters and guess what… we still watch PBS! I recently joined PBS Fort Wayne as a new member and I am so happy I can finally give back to PBS what it has given to me for so many years.”

-Mike and Mary Cahill, Fort Wayne

“I give to PBS Fort Wayne because it is the station I watch the most.

I get national and international news from the Newshour, Washington Week, and Indiana Week in Review. I love Masterpiece Theater, Great Performances, and Finding Your Roots. I get travel ideas from Rick Steves and Joseph Rosendo. I watch Knit and Crochet Now! for ideas for crafting.

I also record many of these programs if I can’t watch them when broadcast. PBS is my preferred channel for TV viewing. I volunteer for PBS Fort Wayne because if gives me the opportunity to give back to my community.”

– Patricia Meyer, North Manchester

“We love PBS Fort Wayne….we find even greater value in what our kids get from the children’s programming. Our kids are always learning from the PBS KIDS shows,

both academically and emotionally. The shows are so well done that the kids are enjoying the shows so much they don’t realize they’re learning in the process!

PBS Fort Wayne provides so much to the community, and the least we could do was to give a little bit each month in order to show a bit of our gratitude for this great resource in the Fort Wayne area!”
