Electric Legacy: The Story of General Electric in Fort Wayne will take you on a journey 140+ years in the making.

Connecting local people — past and present — to places, and events in regional and American history, this presentation goes back to the origins of the company in the 1880s before becoming a part of General Electric. It traces its evolution through the product developments of the 20th century, the WWII production boom, through the economic downturn of the 1980s to the the final closure of the Fort Wayne GE Campus in 2015… and the hope created by the Electric Works project.

Going beyond the technology, machinery and innovations brought to life at GE in Fort Wayne, this documentary highlights bonds that were formed among generations of employees, creating a cultural impact that still resonates today.
