Celebrate Black History Month with PBS Fort Wayne PBS Kids Style – As we bring you a special screening event featuring historic American Changemakers — Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass with Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum— on Saturday, February 18 beginning at 10am!

On that day, we’ll be screening back-to-back episodes of Xavier Riddle’s “I Am Frederick Douglass” and “I Am Harriet Tubman.” After these screenings, we’ll share special Changemaker activities for kids that will enhance their learning about these freedom fighters who led the fight to end slavery in America.

While this event is free, space will be limited. Click the button below to reserve your space!

About Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum

Inspired by the best-selling kids book series, Ordinary People Change the World, by New York Times bestselling author Brad Meltzer and illustrator Christopher Eliopoulos, this PBS kids series follows the adventures of Xavier, Yadina and Brad as they tackle everyday problems by doing something extraordinary: traveling back in time to learn from real-life inspirational figures like Marie Curie, Harriet Tubman and Jackie Robinson when they were kids.

Each adventure helps young viewers make the connection between the skills that made these historical figures heroes and those same qualities within themselves, helping them discover that they, too, can change the world.

Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum airs on PBS Fort Wayne (39.1) weekdays at 4:30pm, and on our PBS Kids Channel (39.2) Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5:30pm.
