Reports to: Corporate Development Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide customer service assistance and general clerical support to PBS Fort Wayne Corporate Development Account Executives.

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales information for Account Executives.
  • Maintain sponsorship database with complete, accurate and current data.
  • Maintain orderly and current client files.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings.
  • Provide clerical support to Account Executives creating proposals for presentation to prospects.
  • Assist the sales team with one-to-one efforts and communications with prospects and      clients to move sponsorship through to close.
  • Collect, review for accuracy and process underwriting and sponsorship contracts,
  • insertion orders and other client data.
  • Help manage and effectively use sales and internal applications/processes such as
  • ProTrack and other CRMs.
  • Work with traffic and production for timely creation and insertion of sponsorship
  • announcements.
  • Use analytics/intelligence to support sales prospecting efforts.
  • Assist with the mining of prospect information identifying prospective corporate business supporters of PBS Fort Wayne.
  • Work effectively with multiple individuals and functional areas within PBS Fort Wayne
  • including marketing, production, programming, and finance.
  • Participate in special events as needed.
  • Closely adhere to all PBS Fort Wayne policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required education, experience, and skills:

  • Experience working in a supporting sales role.
  • Experience working with a CRM or process to manage data.
  • Ability and confidence to interact with prospective clients in writing and over the phone.
  • Extensive, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed individual who is highly motivated and able to organize and manage own work.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen checks.
  • Full COVID-19 immunizations.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Supervisory responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work environment: Majority of work will be in-office.

Physical demands:

  • Walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, moderate lifting and carrying up to thirty (30) pounds.
  • Full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
  • Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional need to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to focus on detail and accuracy of work product.
  • Occasional high stress may be experienced.
